Developed decorative illustration for Newman School with CR+A Architecture.
I was called for a project of remodeling of a High School in Colombia. I developed the illustrations with the client (Cr+a Architecture) and the school to provide a clear narrative and character designs that would inspire and entertain the children. Here are some of the works developed for that Project.
The character was inspired by the academic figure from which the school got its name, John Henry Newman. The school wanted to encourage curiosity, creativity and natural conscience. We decided to make the character younger to appeal to the students, and the rest of the characters were designed to be animals and robots to give it a more fantastical and fun story.
